Above Café

The Above Cafe provides coffee, pastries and Kolaches each Sunday before and after the morning Worship Experiences to our members and guest. The Cafe provides an opportunity for connection and conversation and a light snack.

Above Administration Ministry

This ministry is responsible for the effective and innovative management for God’s Kingdom by providing all of the administrative support for ABF and its ministries. This includes crating and producing all church and ministry correspondence, brochures and flyers as well as Sunday Worship Programming guides.

This ministry interacts with new members and guests, helping them get plugged into Above Groups, and ultimately fully connected with their new church family.

Above Children’s Experience 

Above Children’s Experience provides fun, creative and exciting teachings about the bible on a level that will cultivate the minds through Bible stories, fun crafts, games, movies and singing during our Above Small Groups, Starting Point Classes, Special Event and Conferences.

Above Outreach Ministry

Above Outreach is a ministry designed to specially react to those that need support and encouragement. Our mission is to cultivate programs to aid the homeless, minister to the shut-in, develop skills to assist the abused and neglected, as well as, transform lives through the word of God.

Above First Impression Ministries

These ministries welcomes everyone with a smile, hug, handshake and maintain order, enabling the morning Worship Experience to flow smoothly while ushering in the presence of GOD.

• Greeters: Greet attendees as they arrive for worship and direct them to the various worship services and activities on campus.

• Parking Lot Greeters: Greet attendees the moment they pull into the parking lot at ABF! Also, direct traffic and provide a safe and friendly environment in the parking lot. No experience required.

Above Hosts Team

The host/ hostess team of Above & Beyond Fellowship ensures that every person entering the doors of ABF experiences a WOW moment. The team will make every guest feel welcomed with a touch of warmth and a parade of friendliness, kindness and geniality.   They will also ensure visitors are offered assistance as appropriate so that everyone feels important and welcome and is able to find his or her desired destination easily. This ministry is a division of the Above Young Adult’s Ministry but anyone ages 18-29 are welcomed to join.

Above Starting Point 

The vision of this ministry is to teach, train and equip the members of the Body of Christ to become unified. It is instrumental to the growth of every new member as they journey through classes 101-401, discovering Church Membership, Maturity, Ministry and Missions.

Above Healthcare Ministry

This ministry is a group of volunteered physicians, registered nurses, license practical nurses and medical assistants that give medical attention to the members and guests of ABF during services and special events. This ministry also provides informative health material and ways to live a life of well-being.

This Ministry provides graphic assistance through PowerPoint presentations to help with worship services, special events and other ministries of the church.

Above Fervent Prayer Ministry

This ministry is designed to bring believers together on one accord, praying for the covering of the body of Christ and those who are lost and hopeless. The ministry seeks prayer warriors for Christ that prays earnestly and faithfully without ceasing. The ministry also visits hospitals, homes and nursing home for those who are sick and shut in.

Above Pastoral Support Ministry

The Pastoral Support ministry lovingly serves our Senior Pastor through prayers, encouraging words and other acts of kindness and support. We honor our Senior Pastor’s Faithful Service through birthdays and anniversaries. The Pastoral Support ministry is important to our Senior Pastor because it’s support that relieves the burdens when the job gets tough.

Above Audio Ministry

This ministry provides sound and technical support for the Sunday worship experience, as well as church related meetings and activities. Volunteers set up and operate sound, video, lights, and other equipment for most events at ABF.

Above Video Team

Above Security Team

This team is designated to render overall safety to members and guests by protecting them from duress and suspicious intruders. The ministry patrols the church building and grounds during regular service, special events, and gatherings. It is also responsible for the church’s facilities.

Above Groups Ministry

Our connection groups are as varied as we are, but it’s all about building healthy relationships and empowering and impacting one another with fellowship and God’s word. We connect to God and to others, all in a fun, relaxed environment, where genuine learning, and often breakthrough, can take place.

ABOVE ARTS MINISTRIES

• Drama Team: The ministry provides live sketches for many of our weekend services and other events. This is an opportunity for those with acting ability to use their talents in church. The team is open to all attendees by audition.

• Music Ministry: This Music Ministry helps the congregation worship God in a new and relevant way that encourages the disconnected to connect with an audience of one, which leads to a lifestyle of worship. The mission of the ministry is to help all believers magnify, and uplift the name of Jesus through vocalists, musicians, writers/composers, poets/spoken word, lyricists and rappers. The Music Ministry is an auditioned ministry. The Ministry serves during worship services and special events.

ABOVE KIDS ZONE MINISTRIES

Teachings God’s children and youth to choose the path of Christ, the way, the truth, and the life, and to be students of the bible and the word of God.

• Above Kids: The Above Kids ministry teaches children the Word of God by delivering Bible-based life lessons that are interactive, exciting and fun! This ministry includes children ages 5-10 years or from Kindergarten through 5th.  Ministry servants are encouraged to serve for ministry and  special events.

•  Above Nursery: 6 weeks – Toddlers 

Impact a child’s life for Christ early by joining the Above Nursery ministry. This ministry includes children from 6weeks – 2 years and offers a stimulating and fun environment to learn about Christ.

• Above Preschoolers: 3-4 yrs. Old 

The Above Preschoolers ministry teaches children the Word of God by delivering Bible-based life lessons that are interactive, exciting, and fun! This ministry includes children ages 3-4 years.

• Above Kids Ministry: 5-11 yrs. Old  

The Above Kids ministry teaches children the Word of God by delivering Bible-based life lessons that are interactive, exciting, and fun!  This ministry includes children ages 5-11 years, or Kindergarten through 5^th Grade.  Ministry servants are encouraged to serve for ministry special events.

• Above Ignite Intermediate-4th-5th Grade Ministry

Integrated with our Above Kids Ministry. Ignite Intermediate provides a dynamic gateway into the Intermediate Ministry. The ministry exists to attract students to Christ, develop as Christians, equip for ministry, and challenge to lead. Above Ignite ministry service is filled with music, games, and lessons designed to fit their needs. Ministry servants are encouraged to serve for ministry and special events.

ABOVE STUDENTS MINISTRIES

This ministry provides an explosive introduction into the lives of students. The ministry exists to attract middle and high school students to Christ, develop as Christians, discover purpose, equip for ministry and challenge to lead. Worship experiences are filled with upbeat praise & worship, arts presentations and impactful teachings designed to fit their needs. Student’s Ministry Servants are encouraged to serve during worship experiences and special events or in one the sub -ministries:

ABOVE YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY 

• A.Y.A “Above Young Adults Ministry is a ministry catered and designed for ages 18-29 that’s ready and inspired to rise above and Soar beyond the norm, to ignite a fire in a dark generation. In this exciting ministry you’ll get the opportunity to do life, ministry, mission with other young adults, as well as grow in your walk with Christ.
